Miter Saw and Sliding Miter

Before Turning On The Miter Saw
1. Always wear safety glasses when operating any machinery.
2. Check blade for damage.
3. Adjust and lock miter before operating saw.
4. Check that material is level on table as it extends from the tool.
Operating Miter Saw
1. Keep hands, fingers, and body clear of blade path.
2. Avoid standing in line with blade while saw is in operation.
3. Hold wood firmly against fence while cutting.
4. Using moderate pressure lower saw into stock. Do not force the
saw into stock. After blade has completely cut stock, raise blade
and release trigger.
5. Make sure blade has stopped before removing stock.
6. When cutting stock wider than 6 inches lower saw into stock until
the blade has cut through stock then pull the saw toward you to finish
the cut, otherwise, lock blade in back position.
