Here in the health
promotion and wellness programs at Weber State University,
we like to think that we have a lot of control over our
health and well-being. We practice healthful behaviors such
as eating well, getting enough rest, exercising regularly,
and getting regular checkups when it's appropriate. Doing
these things, on a regular basis, tends to lead us to
healthier lives.
Stress, however,
seems to be a part of our lives that we can't do much about.
Here in the Health Promotion program, we disagree. We feel
that stress, and it's unpleasant effects are completely
within our control.
Most people simply don't know what to do.
The Stress
Management Lab has been designed to give you a large number
of effective tools that work to reduce your stress and help
you feel a lot better.
Take some time
to look over this website. After you've learned what we are
all about, you can make an appointment online or you can
simply drop in for a visit to try out all of our fun and
relaxing ways we have to help you with your stress.
If you are feeling
stressed out, the Stress Management Lab
is the place for you.
