We know that Weber State is a great place to work because each of us, in our own way, helps to extend the quality of education for our students.

The Faculty-Staff Capital Campaign committee invites you to become part of this opportunity to contribute to Weber State's future. Together as faculty and staff we want to show other prospective donors how much we care about the university and share its values. Our goal is to double the number of faculty and staff who contribute to various funds that improve Weber State as a place for teaching, learning, and growing.

Any time, any amount, any cause

It is easy to participate. Through payroll deduction, any university employee can request the payroll office to deduct a specific amount each pay period until a certain amount is reached or until an ending date set by the employee. Spread out over time, small amounts can add up.

Any size of gift is welcome–the goal of this campaign is to increase the number of faculty and staff who make any financial contribution to the university.

There are dozens of special scholarships and gift funds managed through the Development Office at Weber State. If one of them is especially important to you, please specify it in the space marked "Donor Choice" on your pledge card. In addition, the Faculty/Staff Capital Campaign Committee has identified four principal areas of focus for this campaign.

Student Scholarships This fund provides tuition assistance to deserving students on behalf of faculty and staff. Your department may wish to establish one especially for your majors or student employees or you may direct your gift to a scholarship fund for part-time students or to any existing scholarship.

Stewart Library This fund enhances library resources in support of teaching and learning. You may direct your gift to publications in your special field, or Stewart Library staff also maintain a "wish list" of items that meet special needs in the overall collection.

Staff Development This fund to helps classified and professional staff develop their skills and grow on the job.

WSU Benevolence Fund This new fund established through this campaign will help employees who face catastrophic life events unmanageable within their own resources.
