These pages are
specifically designed to assist teachers in the
School District (Utah) in the completion of training for
the ESL endorsement. The 2 courses that make up this
online training include ENGL 4450
(ESL/Bilingual Assessment; 2 cr. hrs.) and EDUC
4740 (Building Partnerships with ESL/Bilingual
Families; 1 cr. hr), offered through Weber State
University in Ogden, Utah. Specific course outline and
requirements may differ from the course offered on campus
at Weber State University.
These courses are offered online to
provide flexibility to teachers' busy schedules.

The 2 courses listed will follow a simultaneous schedule. That means that you will be
working on both courses and course assignments at the
same time. Please be sure to consult the course schedule
for each course so that you don't fall behind or miss any
