The mission of
Women's Student Services is to provide programs and services which foster a
healthy, safe, and engaging campus community with a special emphasis on
women, enabling them to be active towards their personal and educational
pursuits at Weber State University.

It is our vision
that through collaborative, process-oriented connections, the Women's Student
Services inspires, empowers and mobilizes coalitions in pursuit of a
nonsexist, inclusive, nonviolent world.

Women's Student
Services provides numerous programs and events each year. Topics range from
sexual assault and sexual violence to women’s health and wellness to women’s
history and empowerment. The Women's Student Services partners with the Ogden
Campus Women's Center and the Women's Studies Program to provide educational
programming and support services to help you reach your goals. Some of our
annual events include, Women's Empowerment Conference, Women's Fair, Women's
History Month, Real Men Poster Campaign, Single Parent Connection, just to
name a few!
Women's Student Services is
a great place for students to get involved! We have great opportunities
available for leadership and personal development. The Student Advisory Board
is the creative arm of the Women’s Center and the Davis Student Council
Director of Women leads a women's student committee focus group here on the
Davis Campus. Both groups are comprised of motivated, dedicated students who
help Weber State University plan and implement events and activities which
help raise awareness of women’s issues.

Thought for the Week
|
I began to have an idea of my life,
not as the slow shaping of achievement to fit my preconceived purposes,
but as the gradual discovery and growth of a purpose which I did not
know.
