American College Dance Festival

The Dance Department at Weber State University is pleased to announce that we are hosting this year's ACDFA Northwest Region Conference.  Bill Shannon, “The Crutchmaster,” will be opening the festival. Ze’eva Cohen (Princeton University), Adam Sklute (Artistic Director, Ballet West), and Helanius Wilkins (Artistic Director, Edgeworks) will be our esteemed adjudicators. The festival will include dance for the camera screenings, open improvisations, and discussion panels facilitated by students.

WSU is located at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains, a paradise for skiers and mountain bikers, and is a site of the Xterra USA Championships.  We are located just 35 miles from Salt Lake  City Int’l Airport with easy access to the main interstate, I-15.  The renovated Browning Center for the Performing Arts has three theaters, studios, classrooms, and viewing rooms.
