Where and When to Take Exams
Exams are given in room 409 of Building No 4 (where math and electronics are
taught) during regular scheduled
testing hours.

the top of this screen.
You can walk in to take an exam during testing hours. After November 1
(fall), April 1 (spring), and July 1 (summer) you must schedule a time to
take an exam. Click
on this link to schedule an exam time.
Lab
Hours for Summer CIL Exams
Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. (lab closes promptly at 5:00 p.m.)
Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m. (lab closes promptly at 8:00 p.m.)
Lab Hours for Fall and
Spring CIL Exams
Tuesday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. (lab closes promptly at 5:00 p.m.)
One or Two Nights a Week 8:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m. (lab closes promptly at 8:00 p.m.) Check lab for days.

Courses and exams are listed under Telecommunications and Business
Education or TBE in the online or printed course
schedule

in back of printed book).

CIL classes
are taught in the Technical Education building, the Engineering
Technology building, the Wattis building, and Building 4. Exams are given in Building
4, room 409, on selected Saturdays and on Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday of each week that school is in session Fall and Spring
semesters.

A
grade of C- or better is required to pass the TBE literacy courses
(letter grade will be given for courses).

A grade
of C- is required to pass the TBE exams (credit
or no credit will be given for exams).

If you do
not pass the exam after three tries you will receive no credit, which
will not affect your GPA.

The exams
follow a generic form; one that is compatible with the following most
widely used hardware, operating systems, and software: PC,
Current Windows,
Microsoft Suite, and Corel Suite,
Current library catalogs, article databases, and Internet search
engines.

The exams
may be taken during regular scheduled times during the school year.

door of room 409 of Building 4.

Students
must register and pay for .5 (one half) credit for each exam
taken.

Each exam
can be taken three times during the semester in which the student is
registered.
