| CIL Test
Instructions for On-Campus Students 1. Register to take
the tests during the regular registration time each semester
- Register online or by contacting the registration office
- A student must be on the rolls to take a test
- Look on the Exam ID page to choose the correct CRN number for each
test
- Approval is needed if you choose to register after the first week of
school
2. Schedule a time to take test
- Schedule online to ensure there will be a computer available. Link
to Schedule an Exam page
- Fall and spring tests are given in room 409 of Building 4 on:
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- One night a week from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Testing is available on selected Saturdays from 10 to 11:00 a.m.
during fall and spring semesters only
- Summer testing hours vary. See summer
testing schedule for day and time
- Check door of room 409 for lab hours (testing days are Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday but you can use the lab to study or practice
tests for the TBE exams on Monday, Friday, and Saturday)
Tentative lab hours are:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- One night a week from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Time may change)
- Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
3. Look at the practice problems before taking the tests
- We are currently using Microsoft 2007 software in Lab 409
- Testing is available in both Microsoft 2003 and 2007 software for
summer 2008 and as
well as WordPerfect and Presentations X3
- Testing will be on Microsoft 2007 and the latest version of Corel in
fall 2008
- There will be one MAC available for testing in fall 2008
4. Take the test
- Take the test(s) before the last week of school and before final's
week
- Grades are recorded on WebCT within seven days of taking a test

form
- After filling out the form and receiving approval to register call
Continuing Education to register
- A student must be on the rolls to take a test
- Look on the Exam ID page to choose the correct CRN number for each
online test
2. Fill out the three Online

Request an Exam Forms
- Request all exams at same time
- You do not have to take them at the same time
3. Look at the practice problems before taking the tests
- We are currently using Microsoft 2007 software
- Testing is available in both Microsoft 2003 and 2007 software, as
well as WordPerfect and QuattroPro X3 until Fall 2008 when the Microsoft
2007 software will be used.
4. Take the test
- Take all the test(s) before the last week of school work. No
testing during final's week
- Grades are recorded on WebCT within seven days of taking a test
