| CIL Test
Instructions for On-Campus Students 1. Register to take
the tests during the regular registration time each semester
- Register online or by contacting the registration office
- A student must be on the rolls to take a test
- Look on the Exam ID page to choose the correct CRN number for each
test
- Approval is needed if you choose to register after the first week of
school
2. Schedule a time to take test
- Schedule online the last month of each semester to ensure there will be a computer available. Link

- All
tests are in Elizabeth Hall (EH) room 311 on:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- One night a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Testing is available on selected Saturdays from 10 to 11:00 a.m.
during fall and spring semesters only
- Summer testing hours vary. See summer
testing schedule for day and time
- Check door of room 311 for lab hours (testing days are Monday
through Friday. The lab is open for study or practice
tests for the TBE exams during the times above)
3. Look at the practice problems before taking the tests
- We are currently using Microsoft 2007 software in Lab EH 311
- Testing is available in Microsoft 2007 software as
well as WordPerfect and Presentations X3
- There are MACs available for testing
4. Take the test
- Take the test(s) before the last week of school and before final's
week
- Grades are recorded on WebCT within seven days of taking a test

for Online Students 1. Register to take the tests by:
- Filling out the online approval
form
- After filling out the form and receiving approval to register call
Continuing Education to register
- A student must be on the rolls to take a test
- Look on the Exam ID page to choose the correct CRN number for each
online test
2. Fill out the three Online
Student, Proctor, and
Request an Exam Forms
- Choose a proctor
- Be sure that the proctor has the software needed to take the tests
- It is the student's responsibility to make proctor arrangements as
well as furnish any needed materials (flash drives, paper, laptop, etc.)
- Proctor's may request payment for their services. It is the
student's responsibility to pay proctors.
- Request all exams at same time
- You do not have to take them at the same time
3. Look at the practice problems before taking the tests
- We are currently using Microsoft 2007 software
- Testing is available in both Microsoft 2003 and 2007 software, as
well as WordPerfect and QuattroPro X3 for online students.
4. Take the test
- Take all the test(s) before the last week of school work. No
testing during final's week
- Grades are recorded on WebCT within seven days of taking a test
