Upon graduation, students should be able to:

  1. Provide the knowledge, skills and judgment to render quality health care services.
  2. Possess a broad knowledge of the professional discipline.
  3. Maintain professional competency through life-long learning.
  4. Possess knowledge of current practices and demonstrate clinical competency prior to graduation.
  5. Apply didactic and clinical knowledge and skills effectively and efficiently.
  6. Have acquired a sense of professionalism and a desire to learn.
  7. Appreciate racial, cultural and human diversity.
  8. Promote the value of human dignity and ethical conduct with regard to patient care.

    1. Successful completion of all clinical and didactic program courses. (annually)

    1. Employer Survey (conducted every 3 years,--next survey 2008)
    2. Job Placement (annually)

    1. Successful Completion of Radtec 2942, Career Planning and New Technologies. (annually)
    2. Successful Completion of Radtec 3463, Computerized Imaging. (annually)
    3. Successful Completion of Radtec DV3003, Psycho-Social Medicine. (annually)
    4. Successful Completion of Radtec 1022, Introduction to Radiologic Technology. (annually)
    5. Clinical education rotation assessment (annually)

    External Assessment Measures:

    1. Number of students continuing in the Bachelor’s of Science programs (annually)
    2. Graduate surveys (conducted every 3 years,--next survey 2008)
    3. Exit surveys (annually)
