Results of Assessment

2004–2005 (submitted 12/15/05)

1. A major reevaluation of the area will take place during the 2006-2007 school year.
2. The Dance Area has received permission to advertise for a tenure track faculty member during the 2005-2006 school year.
3. All courses for the Dance Area are being held in the Browning Center due to construction at the Swenson Gym.

General Concerns

1. There are insufficient resources to provide for a piano accompanist in the ballet studio.
2. There is a serious need for at least a shared faculty or staff position to design the shows for Dance. This is currently being handled in a less than satisfactory way.
