When/how was these data discussed among
your faculty?
Weekly discussions of student progress
takes place in faculty meetings.
General faculty meetings are held at the beginning and end of each
academic year and overall evaluations findings are disseminated to all faculty.
The need for
course changes is discussed both in Curriculum Committee and in Faculty meetings.
These findings are also taken to Administrative Council for support
and information.
Information is exchanged between Administration and
Faculty through Administrative Council which includes Level Managers and
faculty meetings. Outreach faculty is included through phone
conferencing as well as by them traveling to the main campus. This
includes NCLEX test results.
Administration as well as faculty members meet with
clinical agencies throughout the community to evaluate student clinical
placement and nursing needs of the community.

of these discussions?

through these discussions.
A new BSN course in Gerontology will begin in the
fall.
Plans are underway to construct an Oncology course as
a BSN elective course in response to community input.

New comprehensive exams will be used for students
completing their PN and AD nursing programs. These exams will be
used to evaluate areas of learning that need to be strengthened in the program and hopefully,
will indicate a student's readiness to pass their NCLEX exams.
