The department of Economics graduated over 20 students during the 2004-2005 school year.  This is the second year in a row we have graduated over 20 students.

This is the first year we have offered our  Research Methods class (Econ 4980) which is where much of our program assessment will take place in the future.  Because this was a new requirement during the 2004-2005 school year only 8 students took the class. Each student made an oral presentation (Objective 1) and 7 of the eight students used some type of statistical analysis (Objective 2).  All students had a section on economic theory (Objective 3). We gathered each paper.  These papers will be combined with the expected 12-15 papers that will be gathered in the 2005-2005 year.  We will use these papers as the initial assessment of our standards.
