The Department of Telecommunications & Business Education (TBE) provides learners opportunities to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge and to develop character traits necessary for a successful life in a technological world. Learners are given opportunities to develop the skills of decision making, creativity and artistic expression, composition, research, and scholarship. The TBE Department is dedicated to the success of students by meeting students’ diverse educational needs through innovative, quality undergraduate education.

Telecommunications, Business Education, and Business Systems Technologies majors are required to meet standards of competency in a variety of technical areas necessary for employment throughout the United States and the world. To ensure vitality for effective teaching and service, the TBE faculty are consistently upgrading their knowledge of the most current technological information and are actively participating in scholarly pursuits, professional activities, public service, and community partnerships.
