At the time of graduation, the four-year Interior Design student will able to:

  1. Demonstrate a knowledge base and the ability to acquire information in order to practice Interior Design.
  2. Communicate effectively using oral, written, visual, and technological methods.
  3. Synthesize creative and conceptual solutions to problems utilizing the knowledge base acquired in general education and interior design courses.
  4. Demonstrate professional attitudes and behaviors including the attitudes of lifelong learning, ethics, and advocacy for both the profession and the clients.
  5. Assess program needs and demonstrate an evaluative attitude toward their experiences in and outside the classroom, experimental and non-experimental.
