Center Outcomes
- Students of Weber State University will acquire the skills necessary for a
successful career in science and/or mathematics teaching, including an
understanding of science and mathematics inquiry and how to promote that in
the classroom, and an awareness of various resources for the teaching of
science and math.
- K-12 students will have an increased appreciation for scientific and
mathematical problem solving and an understanding for the diversity of
careers available in the sciences and mathematics.
- Utah science and mathematics teachers will receive quality opportunities
for professional development.
- Utah science and mathematics teachers will have access to teaching
resources to augment their classroom materials.
- Those directly involved in science and math education (Weber State
teaching faculty, local teachers, and state and district administrators)
will become more effectively integrated in their activities.
